ABOUT ME
LoveYourBrain is a brain health coaching practice focused on helping people support cognitive clarity, emotional resilience, and long-term brain health through personalised, evidence-informed approaches.
The work brings together insights from psychology, neuroscience, nutrition, metabolic health, and nervous system regulation — recognising that brain health does not exist in isolation from the body, lifestyle, or wider life context.
Rather than addressing symptoms in isolation, I take a whole-person approach, exploring how factors such as energy, stress, sleep, nutrition, and meaning interact to influence how the brain functions day to day.
Support is practical, personalised, and grounded in current science, with an emphasis on sustainable change rather than quick fixes.
About Me
My journey into brain health began with an early interest in different schools of psychology,. This foundation sparked a lasting curiosity about how the mind works, alongside an interest in philosophical traditions from the East, such as Daoism, Buddhism and Yoga with their emphasis on training both the body and the mind.
My decision to study Positive Psychology and Coaching at University of East London was driven by a growing sense that there was more to psychology than understanding dysfunction alone. While traditional psychology offers valuable insight into distress and disorder, I became increasingly interested in what helps people function well — how meaning, strengths, resilience, motivation, and well-being are cultivated, not just restored.
Over time, this interest expanded to include physical health and nutrition. The more I explored these areas, the clearer it became how deeply interconnected they are. Modern research now strongly supports what both ancient traditions and contemporary science suggest: mental and physical health are inseparable, and meaningful change rarely happens when they are treated in isolation. This perspective underpins everything I do at LoveYourBrain.
More recently, my work has focused on the emerging science of metabolic health and its relevance to mental and cognitive functioning. Training in ketogenic therapy for mental health with Dr. Georgia Ede provided a framework for integrating metabolic and nutritional strategies into brain health coaching, where appropriate and always in a personalised, evidence-informed way.
I have also become interested in how breathing and breath-based practices can integrate with cognitive and somatic approaches to support change — particularly in anxiety. Breathing offers a direct and practical way to influence nervous system state, attention, and physiological arousal, making it a valuable complement to both psychological and body-based work. When used appropriately, breathwork can support stress regulation, emotional resilience, sleep, focus, and recovery, helping changes to be felt and stabilised at a physiological level rather than remaining purely intellectual.
