How It Works

At LoveYourBrain, I take a structured yet flexible approach to supporting brain health. Every client is different, so while the process is consistent, the details are always personalised.

Here’s what working together typically looks like.

1. Initial Consultation

I begin with an in-depth initial consultation to understand you — your health history, lifestyle, symptoms, goals, and priorities.

This session allows us to build a clear picture of what may be influencing your brain health and to identify the most appropriate next steps.

2. Clarifying Goals

Together, we define clear, realistic goals based on what matters most to you — whether that’s improved clarity, reduced symptoms, better energy, or long-term cognitive resilience.

These goals guide every decision that follows.

3. Assessment & Evaluation

Based on your history and goals, I identify which assessments are most useful.
This may include:

  • Cognitive and emotional health assessments

  • Relevant blood biomarkers

  • Lifestyle and symptom tracking

  • (Where appropriate) microbiome or metabolic information

Not every client needs every assessment — we prioritise what is most relevant.

4. Personalised Plan & 1-to-1 Coaching

Using the information gathered, I create a personalised plan that may include nutrition, lifestyle strategies, nervous system regulation, and behavioural support.

You’ll receive ongoing 1-to-1 coaching with regular check-ins to:

  • Monitor progress

  • Address challenges

  • Adjust strategies as your needs evolve

Support is collaborative, practical, and grounded in real life.

5. Review & Refinement

Progress is reviewed regularly. Where helpful, I may repeat selected assessments to track change over time and refine the approach.

The aim is steady, sustainable improvement — not rigid protocols.

What You Can Expect From Me

  • Clear guidance without overwhelm

  • Support, accountability, and encouragement

  • Realistic goal-setting and honest feedback

  • Evidence-informed recommendations

  • Respect for your pace, preferences, and autonomy

I work with you, not on you.

Professional Boundaries & Collaboration

LoveYourBrain provides non-medical coaching and lifestyle support.

I do not diagnose medical conditions or replace professional medical care.

Where appropriate, I am happy to work alongside your GP, consultant, or therapist to ensure that all approaches are aligned and complementary.

Your privacy and confidentiality are always respected, and all information is handled with care and professionalism.

The Aim

My role is to guide and support you in building sustainable habits that support long-term brain health, resilience, and well-being.

If you’re interested in exploring the thinking behind this approach in more depth, you can learn more about how brain energy and metabolism influence cognitive health, the broader framework I use to support brain health, and selected resources that have shaped my work. These are entirely optional and are shared for those who enjoy understanding the wider context.
